The map is part of an atlas in the British Library in London, containing navigational charts in the VOC's charter area. The British Library bought the Atlas from the library of the Haarlem collector Van der Willigen in 1875. The atlas contains 49 hand-drawn charts and views, all in colour and in the style of Johannes Vingboons.
