The map shows a bird's eye view of part of the Persian Gulf, topped by a view of 'de Boom der Banjanen', showing the tree of the Banjans in the middle of a forest next to a pagoda. Several horsemen are grouped around the tree as well as a group of figures on a carpet.
Along the bottom of the bird's eye view map there is a text which reads: de Karavansera waer by Mr. de Lalin begraven leyt.
The map shows various forts and towns such as Bandar Kongo and Bandar Abassi.
The islands Gnismich, Ormus, Le Reck are pictured in the Gulf.
The margins have been trimmed to the edge of the frame except where the captions run.
