Map of the plantation La Rencontre at the Suriname River

Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagie La Rencontre.
This survey and partition of the La Rencontre Plantation was requested by its two owners, Elias Bouvet and Stefanus Lorentius. The eastern part (left on the map) us hereby assigned to the latter and the western one (right on the map) to the former. In the middle remains a wooded area with dwellings at the river bank. The map was signed on 10 February 1718.
