According to the Leupe catalogue (NA), the original title reads: Plattegrond enz., als voren, referring to the title of VEL1189: Plattegrond van de stad en Casteel Batavia, met de daarnaast gelegene situatie; gemeten en in kaart gebracht door C.F. Reimer.
The name of the person who made the copy, Johannes Gerlach, has been added.
There is a key.
To the chart has been added the following inscription: No. 25 vide het Register voor Amsterdam de dato 10 december 1788.
Stamp: Depot des Cart. Pl. et Journ. de la Marine.
