Map of the land of Mr. de Cheusses

Title Leupe: Kaart van eenige Plantagien, gelegen tusschen Cottica en Commewyne, beneden de Craskreek tot de fortres Sommelsdyk.
This map shows the land of Mr. de Cheusses (A-D), located to the north of (above on the map) the Commewijne River.
Mr. de Cheusses requested the survey after obtaining the land from the Society of Suriname.
The land turn out to measure 1400 Surinamese acres (602 hectares).
Adjecent, we see the land of Gerrit Pater (to the east), the Sommelsdijk fortress (to the west), and the Vossenburgh Plantation to the south.
As small blaka-beri swamp is situated in the northwest section of the lot.
The map was signed on 23 September 1732
Scale of 200 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 215 ‘strepen’.
