Titel Leupe : Kaart van de geprojecteerde doorsnyding tusschen de rivieren Suriname en Saramacca (ter hoogte van de redout Purmerend).
This map shows the draft for the construction work in the area between the Suriname and Saramacca river to the northwest of Paramaribo.
This draft includes the depcition of a canal running from the Suriname river to the Oranje Creek, which is connected to the Saramacca river.
Both sides of the river are divided into ribbon farms which are assigned the numbers 1 to 87.
The width of the lods are indicated through Rhineland Chains.
A text inside the lots reads : Land along the Canal which will be sold .
