Title Leupe: Kaarte van de Plantagie de Dankbaarheyd aan Rio de Berbice enz.
Map of the newly cultivated Dankbaarheyd Plantation belonging to J. van den Broek and located to the west (to the right on the map) of the Berbice River.
Several forests with different kinds of wood lay near the river.
The plantation turns out to measure 500 Surinamese acres (that is 215 hectares).
The Bestendigheijd plantation lays to the north of the depicted land.
Scale bar of 300 Rhineland rods = 165 ‘strepen’.
North is below.
The map was signed on 9 May 1772.
