French map with annotations on the Ikioni Creek; a southern (above on the map) branch of the Essequibo River.
The survey was ordered by Governor-General Dressée.
While sailing up the river, the two surveyors noted down the extent of forests and the existence of further creeks.
The map is produced on 31 May 1794.
Scale-bar of 1000 Rods = 114 ‘strepen’.
