Map of lot owned by Abraham Lemmers

Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, gelegen aan de Westzyde van de Motkreek, naast de ritz van Norandibo (links in 't opvaren).

This map shows the lot belonging to Sir Lemmers (A-F) and located to the west of the Mot Creek.

Abraham Lemmers requested the survey after obtaining the land on 26 January 1732.

The western part of the plantation contains a blaka-beri forest.

The lot turns out to measure 453 Surinamese acres (194,8 hectares), part of which (C-F) is contested.

The map was signed on 27 January 1733 and ratified on 16 March 1733.

Scale of 60 Chains of 5 1/2 Rhineland rod = 120 ‘strepen’.
