Map of the Land of A.B. Lemmers

Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagien Queekhoven, gelegen tusschen Norandibo en de lage grond behorende tot de Sandtritz Norandibo (links in 't opvaren).
This map shows two lots of the Java Plantation belonging to Sir Lemmers (A-H), member of the council of the police and Civil Justice, which lay to the West of (above on the map) the Mot Creek.
Mr. A.B. Lemmers requested the survey after obtaining the Queekhoven coffee plantation (A-D) and the Sanderits Norandibo plantation (E-H) between 1684 and 1721.
The lots turn out to measure 1000 Surinamese acres (430 hectares).
The forest belonging to the widow of Villepontou lays to the south of the lots (to the left on the map).
The map was signed on 3 January 1731 and ratified on 1 December 1731 in Paramaribo.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 208 ‘strepen’.
