Map of the plantation of Mr. Dusfelles

Title Leupe: Kaart van eenige stukken land, gelegen aan de bovenlyn van de Plantagie Brunsweig.
This map demarcates the land of Mr. Dusfelles (red borders, indicated with the letters A-F) on the south bank (above on the map) of the Cottica river.
The survey was made on request of Benjamin Dusfelles, who bought a piece of land from Johannes Cleij on 8 April 1732.
This piece of land turns out to measure 129 Surinamese acres (55,47 hectares).
The remaining land of Cleij (demarcated with a green line and the letters C-I) turns out to measure 370 Surinamese acres (159,1 hectares).
The lot lies east of the Braunsweig plantation.
The map was signed by the surveyor on 8 February 1733 and ratified on 22 September 1732 in Paramaribo.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 258 ‘strepen’.
