This draft was made in preparation of the reprint of J.C. Heneman’s comprehensive map of Suriname from 1784. This sheet concerns the settlements and trails along the Para Creek. It was drawn during a five-day ship journey by one of the editors of the reprint, likely the second lieutenant of the artillary C.A. van Sypestein. Notes at the rearside show the schedule of this journey.
