Map of lot owned by Abraham Egidius Engel

Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, gelegen in de Paramarica Creeq (rechts in 't opvaren).

This map shows the lot belonging to Abraham Egidius Engel (A-D) and located to the east of the Paramarica Creek.

Engel requested the survey after obtaining the land on 26 August 1733.

The lot turns out to measure 334 4/10 Surinamese acres (143,8 hectares).

The land of Chardavoire and Balcet lies to the north (to the left on the map), and the land of Henderik Boulle lays to its south.

The map is signed on 5 October 1733 and ratified on 13 October 1733.

Scale of 70 Chains of 5 1/2 Rhineland rods = 168 ‘strepen’.
