Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, tusschen de Corsane Creecq en de Plantage Poelwyk.
This map shows part of the Poelwijk plantation (indicated with the letters A-D), situated to the east (above on the map) of the Perica and Carsone creeks.
The survey was requested by the owners: Balthazar van der Meulen and Jacobus Schuijd.
The lot turns out to measure 200 Surinamese acres (86 hectares).
The Corsane plantation lies to the north of this land; the Poelwijk plantation to its south.
Earlier transactions of the depicted land are mentioned in the annotations on the right side of the map.
The map was signed by the land surveyor on 29 January 1735 and ratified on 28 March 1736 in Paramaribo.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 216 ‘strepen’.
