This map shows two plantations laying between the Paulus Creek and the Commewijne River.
The survey is conducted on demand of Sir D.T. Dandiran and S. Deloncoure to measure the distance between their Noitgedagt (north. bottom of the map) and Richelieu (South, top of the map and east of the La Paix plantation) plantations.
This distance turns out to be 241 chains straight through the land of the Society of Suriname
Barricades like sandhills and a swamp are depicted, as are the flow of the Paulus Creek and the Commewijne River.
