Pamphlet featuring a bird's eye view of fort Zeelandia and illustrations showing the Chinese conquest of Taiwan.
The pamphlet measures 463 x 340 mm.
The pamphlet comprises several illustrations accompanied by texts beneath. The illustrations comprise 17 different plates, of which one large with the other 16 smaller plates grouped round it. The largest shows a bird's eye view of fort Zeelandia and a city on a peninsula surrounded by ships. In the foreground a strip of land peopled by soldiers. The text top centre reads: Die Vestung Zelandia auff dem eylant Tyawan gelefen, while the illustration fetures the letters B-I. Several soldiers stand on the shore with in the middle: Baxenboy.
The other illustrations all depict massacres or murders.
