Each of the little prints measures: 10 x 13 cm, the edges of the plate 33 x 38 cm.

On the reverse a stamp: Rijksmuseum.

Bottom right: 4459.

During the Fourth Anglo-Dutch War (1780-1784) the WIC lost St. Eustatius to the British. The French recaptured the island. At the Peace of Paris the island was given back to the Republic, along with its other possessions in the West Indies.
