A map of the British Colonies in North America, ranging from the Mississippi River Valley, parts of Texas and the lower Missouri River Valley. Interestingly, south Florida is depicted as an archipelago. Not many geographical features are shown but early forts and settlements as well as 'Indian' regions are noted. The borders are drawn according to the treaty drawn at Paris on the 10th of February 1763. In the Dutch Republic this map must have mainly served foreign diplomacy.
