Map of Borneo

A bird's eye map of Borneo with compass situated bottom left. The map shows cities, forests and mountains and to the left can be seen a dotted line representing the route sailed by Olivier van Noort. His vessel, depicted here in the bay of Borneo, was attacked by sampans at the order of the local ruler on January 1, 1601.
