View of the harbour at Batavia
Kobell jr., Hendrik / Sallieth, Mattheus de
View of a calm sea crammed with ships and the city of Batavia and mountains in the background. The vessels include several three-masters and many smaller ships including a junk. One of the vessels is clearly flying the Dutch flag while several others fly pennants. The city in the background has several towers.
