According to the Leupe (NA) catalogue, the original title reads: Kaart van een gedeelte van de Kust bij Mozambique, ter hoogte van 18 graden Z.Br. met de rivier Quelimana, waar het schip Baarsande in het jaar 1711 is verzeilt.
Note in the Leupe catalogue: De Schipper was Gysbert Steen.
Format: 105 x 97,5 cm [excluding the strip with Table Mountain] / 171 x 97,5 cm [including the strip with Table Mountain].
The strip featuring Table Mountain on the top of the map measures 46 centimetres across.
Notes on reverse: overgekomen van Ceilon 1 nov 1713 N 946 [another illegible word in pencil precedes 'overgekomen'].
No 63 [probably the number of the map in the OBP volume].
