Plan for the redoubt Leyden

Title Leupe: Plan van de Emboushure der rivier Commewyne, de situatie van de forteress Nieuw Amsterdam, Redout Purmerend, en de geprojecteerde Batterie op die hoek van Commewyne.

This map shows the plan to build a redoubt to the north of the estuary near Paramaribo, later on this redoubt would be named Leyden.

Since the redoubt was not yet built when this map was made, it must be dated to the first half of the eighteenth century.

Red lines indicate the range of the batteries.
