Map of Bullen Bay
Schrijver, Carel Gustaaf / Esdré, Godfried Carel
Title Leupe: Plan van de Bulle Bay.
This map is a copy of VEL618, originally drawn by Carel Gustaaf Schrijver en Godfried Carel Esdré. It depicts new stronghold for the Bullen Bay. The original version of this map was attached to the report to the States-General of the engineers from 22 May 1742. Their design was taken along in the resolution of the States-General from 9 October 1743, which was send together with the copymap seen here. This resolution proposed a newly designed stronghold of the same larger type as the Estates-General desired for Sint Kruis Bay, Porto Marie, Sint Michiel Bay and Piscadera Bay. Soundings are given along the bay.
