This draft is part of a series (VEL1462-VEL1472), constituting a plan to fortify the Piscadera, Saint Michiel and Porto Marie Bays with a small battery and fort. This design for a redoubt at the Porto Marie Bay is adapted to the landscape with the bastions facing inlands and a long wall covered the coast. In addition, a profile shows the required width of the walls.
