This survey of a parcel around the Para Creek was conducted on request of the neighbour and owner: Jacob Davilar and the widow of Pieter Rodrigues named Miss Elisabeth Roomers. Since the death of Rodrigues, Davilar and Pieter de Puijs are responsible for the administration of Elisabeth Roomers’ lot and thus involved in this survey. The extent of the piece of land turns out to be 500 Surinamese acres; that is 215 hectares. To the east and south lays the land of Jacob Davilar and to the north the Acaribo plantation. The map was signed on 30 Febuary 1728 and ratified on 26 March 1729.
