Map of the Sint Jan Plantation owned by the Amsterdam resident Sir Volkmaar and located to the east of the Canje River.
The lots turns out to measure 500 Surinamese acres (that is 215 hectares).
The Don Phillip plantation lies to the south of the depicted land and the Ongegundt plantation to its north.
The map was signed on 28 January 1769.
