This map shows the mouth of the Marowijne River. Through soundings, indications of sand banks and notations at the lower right, the map gives advice on how to enter this river. It also depicts trees and houses at the coast as reference points with short comments. This concerns the printed version of this work which was included in Johannes van Keulen’s Nieuwe Groote Lightende Zee-Fakkel in 1777. -North is below.
