Map of Sir Dupeiron's plantation

Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagien, gelegen in Cottica tusschen het 1e en 2e tabbetje.
This map demarcates the lands of Sir Dupeiron (red borders, indicated with the letters A-D) on the south bank (above on the map) of the Cottica river.
The survey is made on request of Sir Jean Dupeiron to measure the land he newly obtained to the west of his original property.
The lot turns out to measure 600 Surinamese acres (258 hectares).
The lot is situated to the west of the plantation belonging to Mr. Neale and Mr. Charron in Compe, and the land of Sir Jean Andre Droilhet.
The map was signed by the surveyor on 29 July 1732 and ratified on 23 September 1732 in Paramaribo.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 80 ‘strepen’.
