This 18-pounder was drawn by the otherwise unknown S. Massol. It is unknown for which fort it was designed or in which period it was produced. We do know this is a copy from the likewise unknown Abraham Leonard Renauld. The luxurious handle suggests the cannon might have been used for specific formal occasions.
