Title Leupe: Kaart van twee stukken land, gelegen tusschen de Plantagie Tourtonne en de Societeyts-grond by de Bomcreeq.
This survey of two parcels near Paramaribo and along the Bom Creek was requested by the owner as well as Governor-General: Sir Jan Nepveu. The extent of the lot to the south of the creek (below on the map) turns out to be 177,4 Surinamese acres (c. 76 hectares.) The combined area of the land on the north side is 540,04 acres (c. 232 hectares) when taken together. The map was signed on 6 May 1772 and ratified on 28 May 1772.
