The ambassador of the Sultan of Bijapur

The illustration here shows how the ambassador of the ‘King of Ballagatte’, the sultan of Bijapur is carried by his servants and accompanied by nobles and soldiers. At the front of the carriage, servants are carrying goods, while the nobles and soldiers are quite prominently armed with swords, knives and a bow and arrow.
