Title Leupe: Project plans en proffillen der Redoutten à Machicoulis in de Colonie de Berbice.

The final fortification upstream of Fort Nassau can be seen on this plan. It is complemented with François Samuel de Veije’s plans for a tower ‘à machicoulis’ within the existing wall to be designed along the lines of the ones envisaged for Nieuw-Savonette, the Wikki Creek and the Canje. This draft includes ground plans (A and D) and profiles (B-C and E).

Scale-bar of 36 Rhineland feet= 95 ‘strepen’.
