Map of plantations at the mouth of the Canje River

This map shows nineteen plantations at the Canje Creek to the east (right above on the map) of the Berbice River.

Twelve plantations are designated with their owners, the others with their assigned names.

The survey was conducted on 7 October 1793.

An alternative version, VEL1581A, is kept in the Dutch National Archive but has not been separately included in this database.
