Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, gelegen in Cottica tegenover de Plantagie Nacracabo.
This map shows the land of Sir Cleij (indicated with the letters A-E) on the south bank (above on the map) of the Cottica river.
Sir Cleij requested the survey himself after obtaining this land on 10 June 1698.
This piece of land turns out to measure 500 Surinamese acres (215 hectares).
The lot is situated nearby the Nacracabo plantation and the Mot Creek.
A previously used measure point as well as some dwellings are drawn on the northern part (bottom of the map) of the plantation.
The map was signed by the land surveyor on 3 January 1731 and ratified on 30 April 1732 in Paramaribo.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 128 ‘strepen’.
